University of Arizona's Premiere Women's A Cappella Ensemble

Vocal Ease is the University of Arizona’s premiere women's a cappella ensemble. This semester, Vocal Ease is 11 members strong, welcoming newcomers Jennifer Barta, Gaby Carrillo, Kristen Islas, Rachel Koons, and Paige Wheeler.

 The group performs a wide variety of music, including pop, gospel, R&B, jazz, and country and has a reputation for being one of the hottest all-female a cappella groups around. Vocal Ease’s first CD was released in January '04, and they just released an EP in February of '06. Also in 2006, these ladies placed 3rd at the Western Divisional ICCA competition held at USC and placed 2nd at Harmony Sweepstakes in LA, with Ali Davis taking home the award for Best Arrangement for "I Believe in a Thing Called Love." We have sung for office parties, the National Anthem for sporting events (Diamondbacks, U of A basketball, etc.), coffee shops, churches, weddings, graduation ceremonies, and other events.
